II. Information Collection and Use
Information you have sent to WannaGo:
Your username, password and e-mail address when you register for a WannaGo account. Profile information that you provide for your user profile, such as first and last name, bio, picture, location and website. You may provide certain information to customize your account such as your cell phone number for the delivery of SMS messages. Your cell phone number is not listed publicly on our Service. User Content (e.g., photos, comments, and other materials) that you post to the Service. Communications between WannaGo and you. For example, we may send you Service-related emails (e.g., account verification, changes/updates to features of the Service, technical and security notices). Note that you may not opt out of Service-related e-mails. Some of the information you provide may be listed publicly on our Services, including on your profile page and in search results.
Finding your friends on WannaGo:
If you choose, you can use our "Find friends" feature to locate other people with WannaGo accounts either through (i) your contacts list, (ii) third-party social media sites or (iii) through a search of names and usernames on WannaGo. If you choose to find your friends through (i) your device's contacts list, then WannaGo will access your contacts list to determine whether or not someone associated with your contact is using WannaGo.
If you choose to invite someone to the Service through our "Invite friends" feature, you may select a person directly from the contacts list on your device and send a text or email from your personal account. You understand and agree that you are responsible for any charges that apply to communications sent from your device.
We may use your contact information to send you information about our Services or to market to you. You may use your account settings to unsubscribe from notifications from WannaGo. We may use your contact information, including our email address, to help others find your WannaGo account, including through third-party services and client applications. You may choose to upload your address book so that we can help you find WannaGo users you know. We may later suggest people to follow on WannaGo based on your imported address book contacts. If you email us, we may keep your message, email address and contact information to respond to your request. If you connect your WannaGo account to your account on another service in order to cross-post between WannaGo and that service, the other service may send us your registration or profile information on that service and other information that you authorize. This information enables cross-posting and helps us improve the Services.
Following, GoList and other Public Information: Most of the information you provide us is information you are asking us to make public. This includes your posts, your GoList, the people you follow, the places you mark as Loved It or WannaTry, and many other bits of information that result from your use of the Services. Our default is almost always to make the information you provide public for as long as you do not delete it from WannaGo, but we generally give you the option to make the information more private if you want. Your public information is broadly and instantly disseminated. For instance, your public user profile information and public posts may be searchable by search engines and may be delivered via SMS or other means to a wide range of users and services. When you share information or content like photos, comments, and links via the Services, you should think carefully about what you are making public.
We use third-party analytics tools to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Service. These tools collect information sent by your device or our Service, including the web pages you visit, add-ons, and other information that assists us in improving the Service. We collect and use this analytics information with analytics information from other Users so that it cannot reasonably be used to identify any particular individual User.
You may choose to publish your location in your posts and in your WannaGo profile. You may also tell us your location when you enable your computer or mobile device to send us location information. You can set your location preferences in your account settings. We may use and store information about your location to provide features of our Services, such as the name and address of a location you post, and to improve and customize the Services.
WannaGo may keep track of how you interact with links across our Services, including our email notifications, third-party services, and client applications, by redirecting clicks or through other means. We do this to help improve our Services, to provide more relevant advertising, and to be able to share aggregate click statistics such as how many times a particular link was clicked on.
Our servers automatically record information ("Log Data") created by your use of the Services. Log Data may include information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, the referring web page, pages visited, location, your mobile carrier, device and application IDs, search terms, and cookie information. We receive Log Data when you interact with our Services, for example, when you visit our websites, sign into our Services, interact with our email notifications, use your WannaGo account to authenticate to a third-party website or application, or visit a third-party website that includes a WannaGo button or widget. WannaGo uses Log Data to provide our Services and to measure, customize, and improve them. If not already done earlier, for example, as provided below for Widget Data, we will either delete Log Data or remove any common account identifiers, such as your username, full IP address, or email address, after 18 months.
WannaGo uses a variety of third-party services to help provide our Services and to help us understand the use of our Services. These third-party service providers may collect information sent by your browser as part of a web page request, such as cookies or your IP address. Third-party ad partners may share information with us.
III. Information Sharing and Disclosure
Your Consent: We may share or disclose your information at your direction, such as when you authorize a third-party web client or application to access your WannaGo account.
Non-Private or Non-Personal Information: We may share or disclose your non-private, aggregated or otherwise non-personal information, such as your public user profile information, the people you follow or that follow you, or the number of users who clicked on a particular link (even if only one did).
Third Parties: We also may share your information as well as information from tools like cookies, log files, and device identifiers and location data, with third-party organizations that help us provide the Service to you ("Service Providers"). Our Service Providers will be given access to your information as is reasonably necessary to provide the Service under reasonable confidentiality terms. We may also share certain information such as cookie data with third-party advertising partners. This information would allow third-party ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements or special offers that they believe would be of most interest to you. We may remove parts of data that can identify you and share anonymized data with other parties. We may also combine your information with other information in a way that it is no longer associated with you and share that aggregated information.
Parties with whom you may choose to share your User Content: Any information or content that you voluntarily disclose for posting to the Service, such as User Content, becomes available to the public, as controlled by any applicable privacy settings that you set. To change your privacy settings on the Service, please change your profile setting. Once you have shared User Content or made it public, that User Content may be re-shared by others. Subject to your profile and privacy settings, any User Content that you make public is searchable by other Users. If you remove information that you posted to the Service, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages of the Service, or if other Users or third parties have copied or saved that information.
Modifying Your Personal Information: If you are a registered user of our Services, there are account settings to access or modify the personal information you provided to us and associated with your account.
When your account is deactivated, it is not viewable on WannaGo.com. We may keep your data for a limited period of time in case you choose to restore your account.
IV. Our Policy Towards Children
Our Services are not directed to persons under 13. If you become aware that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at privacy@WannaGo.com. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we take steps to remove such information and terminate the child's account.
